At Deakin I completed a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, winning multiple scholarhsips and an award for the best Mechatronics Design project in which I designed and build a "Tri-Coder". A Device that showed various enviromental factors when rotated, such as temperature, humidity, Co2, and VoC. It is featured in "Past Projects" below.
In year 12 I studied, Systems Engineering, Maths Methods, English, Physics and Computing. I also won an award in Systems for the best Year 12 project which was a large robotic spider designed to check for termite damage under houses. The "Hexapod" is featured in "Past Projects" below.
I am currently completing the first rotation of a two year gradute program in Research & Development where I assist with student projects and run internal trails. One trail I am leading involves the use of various machine learning models to summarise PhD theses into single page fact sheets, videos and podcasts for distribution to relevant departments.
As part of a scholarship with Deakin University and Barwon Water I completed three full time placments in Enterprise Project Delivery, Technical Services and Strategic Asset Management with casual work offered during the university term. In each of the positions I had a array of responsibilies including the generation of excel macros, python scripts and training videos as well as completing various data analysis and asset capitalisations.
Over the 2018 and 2019 Christmas holidays I assisted the IT department in setting up hundreads of new staff and student laptops for the new school year. I also tested IT infastructure to ensure eveything was working before term resumed.
Discover how our 3rd place Hackathon submission was awarded $20,000 in funding to build a product around real-time water data analysis with an inbuilt AI assistant.
Read MoreMy final year project at university was to build an autonomous drone to quickly, safely and cheaply create a temperature and depth profile of a reservouir.
Read MoreIn my third year of university we were tasked with creating a hand held device that measures various enviromental factors including temperature, humidity, Co2 and VoC. My project was selected as the product.
As part of a trial with Barwon Water I created a number of research assistants that give quick and easy answers to technical questions using a library of peer reviewed papers.
Read MoreMy Year 12 Systems Engineering project was to build a large battery powered spider (HexaPod) that could check for termite damage under houses.
Recently I have been tinkering with networking, virtualisation and data redundacy by building my own HomeLab or home server rack.
